Scott
and Karen Codespoti formed Luna Stone, Inc. in January
of 2005, and are excited to offer the greater Charlotte
area their 20+ years of experience in the field. Previously
they were instrumental in forming two other successful
stone businesses with partners, and have now decided to
launch their own stone business giving them complete control
and thus the ability to insure excellence at every level
while meeting their very high level of standards.
About obtaining stone:
Luna Stone first obtains the finest raw product available from around the world
from local suppliers in the Charlotte, NC area that you can see on our supplier
page. We urge you to choose the slabs straight from these suppliers, and we
will take it from there. It's amazing to walk the acres of slabs that will
be in your kitchen or bath at the time of decision. Although it's a fun process,
it's NOT mandatory.
About bringing the stone to you:
Then Luna Stone is able to ensure quality control in the fabrication
stage in their newly designed building with state of the art
machinery. Scott and Karen proudly purchased a brand new Sharp
500 bridge saw, an Egar 450 CNC, and Luna is with green in
mind purchasing a water treatment system that only uses recycled
water in all phases of their fabrication. Concord doesn't need
anymore water problems, and this was a simple decision on their
part to make it happen.
Luna
Stone's professional CNC operator Shawn Pubal, was personally
requested by Scott and Karen and thankfully
agreed to come onboard. From their experience, there is
NO person out there
 with
his experience and intentions
to make
the most precise fabrication of stone available in this area,
or any other area for that matter. You really need to come
in and meet him and see him in person. And don't forget
Til, Shawn's African Gray Parrot in the office, who continually
overlooks all his work.
Completing
your project:
Once all this has been completed, Luna Stone
will then install the finished product, ensuring that it is
professionally installed to your satisfaction. It can take
as little as 3 to 5 days to complete this entire process depending
on the situation.
